At this year’s Global Game Jam I teamed up with Adam Moore, Patrick Scofield and Kerisa Morin to make TRAVISAWORLD. Based on the theme of the Game Jam “We don’t see things as they are, we see them as we are”, we designed an experimental game with vastly different levels, characters and environments that made the player question who he was and what the goal of the world is. Also incorporating the local theme “Candy”, the game starts with a player eating a piece of candy only to finish the game as a piece of candy that gets eaten. The player is a different character in each level, each with unique art styles and environments.
I created artwork for 3 levels of the game; human, bear and mountain levels. Credit to Patrick Scofield for character sketches.
